Personal Rapid Transport (PRT) uses small 4–6 passenger electric vehicles running on dedicated, grade-separated guideways typically elevated, but also possible on ground or underground. The guideways never intersect at the same level, ensuring safe, uninterrupted operations. On-board switching allows close vehicle spacing enabling high line capacity. The system is fully electric, energy-efficient and compatible with renewable energy sources.
